It IS so HARD. You will see SweetPea again. She is safe and will be happy to see you again when your time on this Earth is done. I'm loved and lost several in 54 years. Animals time on Earth is so brief but so rich. After you feel your grief has run its course, please consider visiting shelters and spending time with some animals there. There are many lovely onces that need loving companions like yourself. You can never replace SweetPea, but think about loving another needy animal.
